This is hands down the heaviest (and coolest) university logo I have ever seen – like some sort of post-apocalyptic symbol. And probably not far off. The logo is a result of a relocation and merger between three Chinese universities (Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Nankai University) after the anti-Japanese War broke out in 1937. In 1984 the university acquired the name, Yunnan Normal University but retained the logo. I like this shot of it because it comes complete with dark and ominous lines and time induced rust stains.
